Alright, before you guys ask -- a few changes/additions/incorporations happening on this blog over the next few days. This shift, to the current template, is so I can, over time, link to websites I like. Many thanks to Arjun Swarup, who's been helping me with this on his own time.

  • The black background puts a lot of strain in the eyes.

  • Prem,
You don't need to have the 'Edit-Me' link - that points to the Help on the Blogger site.

  • black background is not good on the eyes

  • Its almost impossible to read anything on this site now unless I actually do a Control-A to convert it to a white background. Sorry, but this is a REALLY BAD layout.

  • I don't have anything against black (or your old polka dotted print) but like other people who cannot count blogging - or reading them - as work-related, risk getting caught transfixed to your blog due to such attention drawing backgrounds. So, in the larger interests of your audience, most of whom, in all likelihood, visit your blog in direct violation of their work-ethics, please compromise on your aesthetics and go for a plain-jane, clean-john look (The wonderfully written greenchannel.blogspot.com springs to mind).

  • Prem,

I thought I was the only guy who had problem with this black background (oops..political correctness here means I should refer to it as African American background) but seeing the junta out there, I'd like to participate in the dogpile...Prem, your earlier backdrop was very soothing to the eyes..could you and/or Arjun plz address this issue?

    Appreciate it much,
