Close of play

On Rediff just now, everything you ever wanted to know about Shobhan Mehta, the bookie whose arrest set off a little tremor in the cricket world, but didn't know who to ask.
And with that, I'm done and dusted for the day. No comments about shirking, please -- bloody heck, it is 2 am here in NYC... and even the crickets are sleeping, honest.

  • Hey Prem, a totally unrelated question, what do you think of Chappell as India's coach.

My opinion is that he might be too theoretical (he is great at giving seminars for coaches). Also, he is too high profile. He also has nothing to prove. I would have like Moody since he was at best an honest trier and had not established himself in coaching and thus had something to prove. Hopefully Chappell would prove me wrong.
    Whats your take?

  • I think chappell is the right person for India.India needs a coach that can help the team with Strategy rather that coaching.
