Even stevens

Well, almost, at Sabina Park, where Pak closed the first day on 336/6. That could have been seven but for umpire Darrell Hair getting a no-ball call wrong -- bowling sharp with the second new ball, Tino Best got Akmal caught behind, only to find Hair's hand out for the 'no'.
Dileep Premachandran has the full story, so won't elaborate on here. Tricky day ahead tomorrow for Pakistan -- Razzaq and Akmal at the crease, ball still new, no decent bats left in the hut and by my reckoning, a good 100 runs shy of a fighting total on this track.
