35-over mark

At this point, SL was 176/4 (and this was with a 11-run over in the 34th, followed by an 8-over in the 35th). India 186/2 -- ask below 100, and crucially, 8 wickets in hand. As I wrote that, there goes Yuvi... be interesting to see if either Pathan or Dhoni come out now. I would use that option, for a quick 20-30 runs at this point before resuming normal service

  • Your comments on the run-rate make a lot of sense!!!

    Good job Prem!

  • another wkt at this pt will charge up SL.RD has to caryy on MK is godd option prem i guess.b'ze he has those improvisations and if he gets to 20 from 25 he will frustrate the fielding side more then others.. held up biggies for while and put them under bit more pressure by keeping wkts intact

  • Dhoni should've come in now. Hope the run-rate pressure doesn't affect RD which might prove costly!

  • IMO, India must hold on to their wickets, must keep the target within reach by continuing to take singles and occasional fours, and then go for all out attack in last 5 overs

  • 92 from 83.
42 balls from vaas-murli get 42 from there u need 50 from other 41 balls from rest should not be tough even they manage 36 from vaas-murli

  • It's about time one of these two got some boundaries, just to relieve some pressure. Dravid should continue to anchor and the other guy should take some risks here, I guess.

  • I think atleast pathan should hav come for few quick runs...also bcos murali to come later

  • One good thing is, in spite of Murali and Vaas having 7 overs b/w them, India's tail has Harbajan and ZK, who on their day can get quick runs.
