Ones upon a time

At this point -- India 152/8 -- the team has collectively scored 40 singles. Of these, 30 have been taken by Yadav and Pathan. Tells you a little story right there -- about sense, and the lack thereof.

  • Yeah Maher thats what I wanted to say...when other batsmen have struggled to reach double figures..how come u expect them to take single??
and tell me what about Yuvi and Kaif..they have had enf of their chances..time and time they peform in a single match and then be a libality on the team for next 10 or so matches..

  • Being on the west coast does not help because I cannot take part in these blog commenting sessions at all.

But looking at the final scorecard, it seems like if JP and Pathan had not put up that stand, India would have been just another team like Zimbabwe.

At least Zimbabwe can claim that they were subjected to HUGE totals all the time.

Were the wickets just careless throwaways??
