The lady protests too much?

Lalit Modi, for the record, says no deals have been brokered between the Sharad Pawar and Jagmohan Dalmiya camps.
By way of passing interest, notice something? No one even bothers referring to the official candidate -- one Ranbir Singh Mahindra, in case you had forgotten; it is always the 'Dalmiya camp'. Just thought I would mention it, not trying to suggest that the 'patron-in-chief' is very much a part of the BCCI hierarchy, courts or no courts.
But back to this no-deal deal -- right, I'll believe it, the day someone convinces me the sun rose in the west that morning.
Asked whether Pawar would still fight BCCI elections, Modi replied: "Only Pawar knows better but we have raised certain issues and the fight will be carried on."

Which was precisely what the various worthies of the Pawar faction said last time, too; no deal, fight will go on, blah, blah. And then Farooq Abdullah talked recently of the deal that had been brokered then, to ensure a Mahindra-to-Pawar transfer of power.

  • This guy appears to be a bit of a loose cannon. Not sure if Pawar/Bindra can work with him on a sustained basis if they come to power. While he has the ideas, he definitely needs a lot of restraint, looks like!

  • Let Sharad Roa rule and then Sunny will easily sell/implement the NON-ZONAL selection idea

  • Restraint and me...come on!!
Let us face it..if Pawar and Bindra cannot do it then some one else.I think every body(us)are kinda sold to the idea of non-zonal selection to the national team.

Let us see it happen either via PAWAR or some one else.
The reason i meant Pawar was to get the control off the east for a change.
