50 over mark

67 runs in the last ten; perhaps not the best of outcomes, but given the fall of wickets (it could have been one more but for another horrific decision by Hariharan), better than expected.
Two centuries, two batsmen in their teens, the rest binary -- that's the second most lopsided scorecard India has had in this series, second only to the Dhoni one man show. That said, 286 is a defensible target; India are minus two of their main bowlers; you would expect to see JP Yadav rotated in, for -- for my money -- Venu Rao. Lanka on the plus side has Mahela back again -- be interesting to see how Dravid leads in the field, because for once the bowling is under enormous pressure.
Intend to save what is left of my back, so might not be on this as often as in the Indian innings, guys. See you later...

  • Prem take it easy man... we missed your valuable coverage on during the previous one dayer, I agree Gambhir is for real though we need to see how he fares while chasing ... so whats happenning to yuvi, he could not even time it properly, yeah iam also planning to sleep now and watch later in SL innings, hope we can wrap this match up, its a heroic effort from Dravid.

  • great recovery by india to post 285..captain's knock made it possible..was looking like usual results without srt..should be able to defend..unless we bowl real bad..good chance for youngsters like rps to prove his worth and aa to show his consistency...kartik as well..

prem: hope the back is nothing serious..there are some good back doctors (and chiropractors) at the nyu hospital..get it checked now if you already haven't..

    all the best

  • Was just heading off to the couch with a cup of coffee, came by to see what you guys thought.

That back? Geez, it is so fishing embarassing! *L* Went to the gym, worked out like -- in -- a dream; you know how some days you are so focussed.

And then, headed off after the cool-down to the locker; reached for my bag from the overhead locker, forgot my damned glasses had been perched on top of it, saw it fall, made a grab for it twisting sideways, and goodbye back. :-(

I mean, how stupid does that sound? Anyways... close to four hours on my butt is the most I can take for now... so, off to the couch, from where I'll watch the second half of this game. You guys take care, see ya around

  • Looks like Prem had a classic cricket injury..trying to catcj etc!

Jokes apart, such back injuries may take time to heal completely, so take care.

I went through some chiropractor sessions recently..it takes days to get result but the end is pretty good.

...285 is extremely good to defeat this SL team. They are playing like rat's ass.
