Catching them young

This blooding-them-young business, which the national team got into in a big way, is spreading like an epidemic, I notice. Yesterday, if you recall, it was U-19 coach Venky Prasad talking of this; now it is no less than the Cricket Association of Bengal, for its Ranji squad.

  • So, if Bengal also starts looking for young guns.. what's gonna happen to Ganguly? :-) :-)

Disclaimer: These smilies are purely sarcastic in nature, and in no way reflect whether I am pro or anti Ganguly.

  • Never understood why Rohan Gavaskar is still in the team. I don't remember him doing anything earh shattering in last couple of years. He should thank his stars and Papa Gavaskar.

  • prem, when has Dollarmia (president of CAB if i am not wrong) started looking into the welfare of the team... is he really trying to improve the game in WB or just dhua... i am impressed to say the least, but why include them after the side was declared? well, i guess they will have to leave some questions unanswered, dont they?

  • Mayur: Dollarmia :-). How about Daal-mein-kala-mia?

  • babi,

don't say that 'daal mein..' stuff. Last time when Amul Hoardings used it in metros, Dalmiya went after them with a court order... remember when the match fixing controversy broke up
