India-RSA, Game 3, Thread 2

Here you go, guys.

  • Thanks Prem,

    By Blogger Ananth, at 05:15

  • Conspiracy theory rules !!!

    By Blogger udayan, at 05:16

  • Boring Boring Boring

    Wasting the powerplay

    By Blogger ioiio, at 05:16

  • what would be decent score on this one to defend

    By Blogger squarecut, at 05:16

  • sahir, IIRC, Arun Lal said he had never seen Eden Gardens with grass, not *more* grass. I'm looking at the pitch, it just doesn't seem that bad. Some lateral movement, & more importantly bounce and carry, but not freakish or anything.

    By Anonymous Anonymous, at 05:17

  • prem. u r awfully quiet.

    By Blogger JK, at 05:17

  • Is Langeveldt bowling well ? are we in PP3? scorebard not moving at all.

    By Blogger Ananth, at 05:19

  • Dravid is back into his shell. too defensive

    By Blogger squarecut, at 05:19

  • what the latest score..

By Blogger Reverse Sweep, at 05:20

  • jk: not. :-) through this series, have been posting my comments in ten over chunks on the main page. Continuing the practise here, and will stay put on that page.

By Blogger Prem Panicker, at 05:20

  • Mr dravid defending ball after ball . what do u expect

    By Blogger squarecut, at 05:20

  • Hi all,

After a long time watching cricket on proper big screen instead of willow, sgstreams crap

and what a dissapointing state of afairs

    By Blogger suraj, at 05:21

  • "Some lateral movement, & more importantly bounce and carry, but not freakish or anything."

Yeah ... just about enough for our flat track bullies.

    By Blogger udayan, at 05:21

  • 64-4 after 17 poerplay 3 17-21

    By Anonymous Anonymous, at 05:21

  • prem, i just saw the 10 over post. i think your suggestion to try sachin as a super sub is a fine one...and about time too.

    By Blogger JK, at 05:21

  • 4 by yuvi

    By Blogger suraj, at 05:21

  • Yuvraj 4

    By Blogger Schumi, at 05:22

  • 70/4

    By Blogger Schumi, at 05:22

  • 6 runs in 27 balls. Dravid is the ODI batsman extraordinaire.

    By Blogger devips, at 05:23

  • wide

    By Blogger suraj, at 05:23

  • maybe captaincy pressure is playing on RD's mind

    By Blogger squarecut, at 05:24

  • devips, at this point i will take an unbeaten dravid to sehwag who gifted his wicket to a rank bad ball when 3 wickets were already down...we all know that if dravid sticks around, his scroing rate will pickup

    By Blogger JK, at 05:24

  • roublen,
I agree, nothing freakish; but, the words of Arun Lal were never seen this much grass

    By Blogger Sahir, at 05:24

  • devips before castigating Dravid, look at our situation: 4 down. The bowling is good and the pitch is helping the bowlers...power play on, would like another Sehwag like innings...Dravid seems to be digging in for long haul...

By Blogger Reverse Sweep, at 05:25

By Blogger Reverse Sweep, at 05:25

  • bowled!

    By Blogger Sahir, at 05:25

  • Nobody is bigger than the game.

IF sachin is infact not upto standard there is nothing wrong in asking him to take a break and sort of his game.

Wnen SG wasnt upto mark we had the right to demand he be kept out, the same should continue if continued faliure embraces SRT.

But the guys who are in charge dont seem to have the guts to take bold decisions and hold on to it.

Say i say that RD is clean bowled!

    By Blogger rahul_fan, at 05:25

  • i eat my words :P

    By Blogger JK, at 05:26

  • reverse
absolutely. runs are coming. will come. with yuvi in. these 2 just need to bat and bat and bat

    By Blogger GK, at 05:26

  • read: would YOU like another sehwag like innings

By Blogger Reverse Sweep, at 05:26

  • RD bowled

    By Blogger Schumi, at 05:26

  • HECK !

    By Blogger GK, at 05:26

  • freaking bengalis cheering RD'a dismissal

    how sad

    Regionalism at its worst

    By Blogger suraj, at 05:26

  • 6 off 32-- rather pathetic innings; should have rotated the strike better

    By Blogger Sahir, at 05:26

  • RD is getting bowled frequently these days. hmm

    By Blogger squarecut, at 05:26

  • RD is getting bowled frequently these days. hmm

    By Blogger squarecut, at 05:26

  • how on earth ? dragged again ?

    By Blogger GK, at 05:27

  • bowled who..??

By Blogger Reverse Sweep, at 05:27

  • oh lord. yorker, don't blame he pitch:(

    By Anonymous Anonymous, at 05:27

  • Late swing, initialy going towards leg, opened him up and moved out to knock off..

    By Blogger Schumi, at 05:27

  • I am off to bed. no hopes on this match.

    By Blogger squarecut, at 05:28

  • yep we shd stop blaming the pitch! our players have played all over the world, and they shd know how to play, or just give up and go home if they cant play here.

    By Blogger JD, at 05:28

  • Next time SG is not playing, let's have a match in Pak instead.

We'll get more support there than WB

    By Blogger suraj, at 05:28

  • its quie shameful, the way the cal crowd cheered dravid's dismissal

By Blogger Pangalactic Gargleblaster, at 05:28

  • roublen,
yorker? bowled from very wide on the crease, pitched on off and straightened

    By Blogger Sahir, at 05:29

  • straight yorker on middle-off stump. maybe a *little* out-swing. RD just missed it.

    By Anonymous Anonymous, at 05:29

  • gr8 yorker .. ball of the innings so far from langeveldt.. late swinging yorker .. RD missed it completely.

By Blogger Confused Indian Cricket Fan, at 05:29

  • hmmm
both SRT and RD have failed in all 3 games now. should be a big concern

    By Blogger GK, at 05:29

  • Cal crowd proves Maharaja more important than India to them

    By Blogger suraj, at 05:30

  • rahul_fan and others- last match i had mentioned that SRT be dropped and you guys were after me.... and now u r saying the same things.

    By Blogger JD, at 05:30

  • Woo-hoo! Leaving out the SL series, what is Dravid's average in the last 15 matches? Barely 15.

    By Blogger devips, at 05:31

  • are we watching a differnt game:) LOL. maybe it's just my BS more clueless than usual.

    By Anonymous Anonymous, at 05:31

  • pangalactic:totally with u there .. absolutely amazed at the kolkatta crowd reaction.. and they gave RD a warm reception.

By Blogger Confused Indian Cricket Fan, at 05:31

  • still we're in a better position than we were at hyderabad !!

    By Blogger GK, at 05:31

  • today will be real test for Dhoni with not much support

    By Blogger squarecut, at 05:31

  • y wud u leave out the srilankan series?

    By Blogger ioiio, at 05:31

  • its sad to see that the crowd cheering the indian batsmens dismisal. only in India...

    By Blogger JD, at 05:32

  • Dravid gaurd must be a bit off. he is missing balls pitched on off stump. The ball pitched on off and straightened. His feet nowhere near the line of the ball.

By Blogger losing now, at 05:32

  • devips,
by why do you leave the SL series..

By Blogger Thanks Chappel, at 05:32

  • yes. i wud really like india to win today. it wud be sweeter than beating pak in pak

    By Blogger GK, at 05:32

  • yes, this team is not settled at all. Dravid, Tendulkar not firing, Sehwag CANT go beyond 30-40, Kaif is iffy..Ganguly may have a chance afterall!!

Really shameful about the Calcutta crowd if they indeed cheered Dravids dismissal. I am tempted to say something...

    Anyway this match is gone..

By Blogger Reverse Sweep, at 05:32

  • Smith must LOL seeing crowds reaction

    By Blogger squarecut, at 05:33

  • wow! Kaif survives

By Blogger losing now, at 05:33

  • jd, cal crowd is not known to be most enlightened in india. so don't be surprised or sad...

    By Blogger JK, at 05:33

  • jd

    not in india

    only in bengal and kashmir

    shameful shameful shameful!!!

    By Blogger suraj, at 05:33

  • tc
there are ppl who like to leave out series just for their convenience

    By Blogger GK, at 05:34

  • well i can understand one or two ppl, or some actors or politicians...but whole crowd. i think we shd stop hosting matches in calcutta. they havent learnt yet.

    By Blogger JD, at 05:34

  • in 100 years its hard to see India will still be a country, i suspect it will break way into bits and pieces like it onces was before the british took advantage of our divided mentalities

  • anti nationals

    By Blogger Schumi, at 05:34

  • India Vs "Bengal and SA"??

    By Blogger ioiio, at 05:35

  • Folks: I would love to hear people's thoughts on "Good bowling in helpful conditions" will always trump batting. Similar in baseball "Good pitching always wins". Would love to hear some great innings played under very helpful conditions.

    By Blogger Seshan, at 05:35

    R Dravid b Langeveldt 6 31 1 0

    By Blogger oldmanblues, at 05:36

  • Will the crowd disrupt the match if India is in a winnin position ?

    By Blogger Ananth, at 05:36

  • Have you so easily forgotten crowd reaction to Ganguly dismissal in Bangalore? These things happen. A crowd is a crowd is a crowd.

    By Blogger devips, at 05:36

  • reverse funny thing is batting seems to flop when batting first. the 2 matches we have lost this season we lost batting first . this cud be the third

    By Blogger GK, at 05:36

  • If what u guys are saying is true...it is shameful...but mob mentality has no pattern..RD has played one of his life's best innings here and he does not deserve this. Even SG would not appreciate this...It is an embarassment to him that his home crowd is behaving in such an immature manner...Hope this is not leading up to some unsavoury events.Cal has a past history

    By Blogger Ravi1010, at 05:37

  • 21st Ovr 77/5

    By Blogger Schumi, at 05:37

  • seshan - SA bowling has been good thruout the series, and i wouldnt call these helpful conditions.... its just our inconsistent batting lineup.

    By Blogger JD, at 05:37

  • Hi all, first time blogger on this post but long time reader. Indian living in Hong Kong so just spening a nice Friday evening watching the cricket. Rushed home from work to try to see Veeru light up Eden Gardens but what disappointment!!

much posting about SG here - good and bad... in the interest of full disclosure got to say am a big fan of Saurav and good to see him getting runs and wickets in Ranji trophy - whatever the standard of bowling it's the highest score of the match no?

despite his form, SG was always a figher taking on the bowlers - someone once called it "doomed bravado" - hit the nail on the head. I always found it compelling to watch him, with his weaknesses (well known) not phasing him so that he still goesfor pulls against the shortball!! stupid but admirable in a certain twisted sort of way.

I think that this match and the first one dayer with SA show that the Indian batsment without exception (apart from maybe Rahul) are weak against good fast bowling.

let's hope Yuvrak and Kaif do a Natwest Final re-run...

    By Blogger Bobby, at 05:38

  • devips
    which bangalore incident ?

    By Blogger GK, at 05:38

  • Stupid kaif, can't take singles, nor can hit boundaries. Just gave a maiden.

    By Blogger caconifox, at 05:38

  • i expected that SG would try to calm the ppl sentiments before the match.... but again he probably would want this to happen.

    By Blogger JD, at 05:38

  • GK yes that really is the worry...this looks like a goner

By Blogger Reverse Sweep, at 05:39

  • do you remember ganguly's performance, his attitude and his denial of loss of form and the ability to captain the team...when he came to bangalore?

what did dravid do? not that the bangalore crowd was justified, poor show really in both cases

By Blogger Dhruv Deepak, at 05:39

  • Wide

    By Blogger suraj, at 05:39

  • Waiting for strokeless wonder Kaif to goof up!

    By Blogger oldmanblues, at 05:40

  • hall is trying to tempt YS into playing an expansive drive outside the offstump.. bowling really wide of offstump

By Blogger Confused Indian Cricket Fan, at 05:40

  • BTW what do u guys think abt MSD being sent up in place of Kaif?

    By Blogger JD, at 05:40

  • bobby
what is worrying is dravid and tendulkar have been our WORST batsmen this series

    By Blogger GK, at 05:40

  • The Nagpur track last year (along with the rain in Chennai) cost us our most cherished series...I honestly and sincerely hope that this track was not a result of political compulsions...but the whole dravid dismissal cheering really leaves a bad taste in the mouth

By Blogger Pangalactic Gargleblaster, at 05:40

  • .... meanwhile ... no sign of the allrounder in the Mah v/s Bengal match...

By Blogger mis-timed Drv, at 05:41

  • GK
Bangalore test in the last pak series.

Poor ganguly is away in Pune playing ranji trophy. He can't be in two places at the same time!

    By Blogger devips, at 05:41

  • jd
i think it is right to save dhoni for later

    By Blogger GK, at 05:42

  • jd...what a sad thought...SG went on record and said that the game should not be boycotted or demonstartions should not be held and people should flock the stadium to support India...and u have this thought...Clean the cobwebs

    By Blogger Ravi1010, at 05:42

  • Comparing Bangalore crowd to Cal crowd is like comparing SRT's batting to Ashish Nehra's

    sophistiction level is entirely different

    By Blogger suraj, at 05:43

  • devips- SG can make a public statement, and out media will reach it all over the world, if he really wanted he could have done that. Instead of the police force trying to calm the crowd, i am sure that would have helped.

    By Blogger JD, at 05:43

  • 4 to yuv

    By Blogger Schumi, at 05:43

  • nice tickle by yuvraj...love the guy when he plays well..remember his first innings in the Aussie tour? I saw it in the ground...the aussies couldnt believe we had a batsman like this in reserve

By Blogger Pangalactic Gargleblaster, at 05:43

  • i really think it is about time kaif played a big one now

    By Blogger GK, at 05:44

  • langeveldt is bowling beautifully .. moving balls really late .. makes life difficult for batsmen

By Blogger Confused Indian Cricket Fan, at 05:44

  • shot by kaif!!!!!!!

By Blogger Pangalactic Gargleblaster, at 05:44

  • A nice 4 by Kaif.

    By Blogger caconifox, at 05:44

  • ravi1010 - if SG has said that then thats a really great thing he did. but i have been reading rediff, indiatimes and cricket.org regularly, but really didnt see this.

    By Blogger JD, at 05:44

  • 4 to kaif

    By Blogger Schumi, at 05:45

  • did u guys see the innings by lara today? what a beaut

By Blogger Pangalactic Gargleblaster, at 05:45

  • I guess Yuvi and Kaif are consolidating well.

  • gk,
my wife, who is a practical cricket widow (and from Iran so no predisposition for cricket) has learned enough about Team India not to be surprised about Tendulkar - as she says "he always gets out early, why is he still playing?"

makes you wonder why the special antagonism to SG - frankly it is just that our team just isn't good enough on some days and people need a scapegoat - I'm betting the Indian media (which is as compelling and frustrating to read as SG is to watch) Dravid will be next....

    By Blogger Bobby, at 05:45

  • 1 more

    By Blogger suraj, at 05:45

  • another awesome 4 by kaif!!! clean hit

By Blogger Pangalactic Gargleblaster, at 05:46

  • 4 more

    By Blogger Schumi, at 05:46

  • yuvi and kaif are hitting boundaries ... Great ... altho id rather they do it in ones and twos !!

    By Blogger GK, at 05:46

  • get a feeling that kallis may bowl today

    By Blogger Schumi, at 05:47

  • pangalactic:off topic here .. but nice to see a douglas adam fan :) ..

By Blogger Confused Indian Cricket Fan, at 05:47

  • gk,

thats why you are not there.......cuz you'd do it in 1's and 2's

  • kallis in the attack

By Blogger Pangalactic Gargleblaster, at 05:47

  • bobby- i agree, actually for the last few yrs i am seeing that SRT is only playing in patches, no consistency at all.... it seems he is just interested in adding more number of matches to his name...

    By Blogger JD, at 05:47

  • and there he is

    By Blogger Schumi, at 05:48

  • pg
did u read cricket365.com's headlines on the lara inns ?? it simply read

    "Adelaide witnesses Greatness"

    By Blogger GK, at 05:48

  • confused....u called it man...actually if u're a DA fan check out this guy called Bill Bryson...u'll love his books...same brand of humour without the sci-fi

By Blogger Pangalactic Gargleblaster, at 05:48

  • i really wish SRT start playing like lara .. carefree batting .. just go back to enjoy his batting rather than worrying about team totals and all that .. guess i wud atleast get to watch the vintage SRT tat i miss these days .. :(

By Blogger Confused Indian Cricket Fan, at 05:48

  • Lara is the best batsmen in the world.

    By Blogger JD, at 05:49

  • green top.... agreed OK.. losing the toss.. sending pathan ? (excuse me... pathan ?)... and then customary collapse on a slightly helpful pitch.

so much for Commitment to excellence !

By Blogger mis-timed Drv, at 05:49

  • jd...I watched him say that on TV.Will check if there is a write up.Knowing our media, they would not put down anything that is inconvenient for their next story/theory

    By Blogger Ravi1010, at 05:49

  • pangalactic:wud do tat .. thx 4 the tip ..

By Blogger Confused Indian Cricket Fan, at 05:49

  • Dravid fails in 3 matches after a wonderful SL series and already people are already "concerned" about his form? Grow up guys.

    By Blogger Deepak, at 05:50

  • I don't see why some bloggers have fussed about the Kokatians. They are cheering good cricket, and the applause to send off Dravid was probably not negative mindset but a show of their dissappointment at his defensive innings. I was happy to see Dravid go as well.

    By Blogger inside_story, at 05:50

  • confused- i dont think SRT worries abt team total...

    By Blogger JD, at 05:50

  • gk, I think adelaide witnessed greatness when RD played his innings there...and I know, I saw all 5 days live in the ground...

Lara today was sublime genius...but having once lived and watched cricket in adelaide for 2 years...RD was god for those 5 days

By Blogger Pangalactic Gargleblaster, at 05:50

  • confused fan, I had a very long discussion with devatha and others regarding Lara's batting brings more pleasure than SRT's and they came back with all sorts of stats to prove SRT is better than Lara.

    By Blogger squarecut, at 05:50

  • i guess sending IP at the top was a gamble worth taking .. if he scored 30 quick runs on this pitch.. SA wud hv been under gud pressure .. and nothing too much to lose even if he got out on a duck ..

By Blogger Confused Indian Cricket Fan, at 05:51

  • so many of these south africans look like they should be playing rugby and not cricket...the short stocky muscular builds....and yet, they look good while fielding...

    By Blogger JK, at 05:51

  • did the Calcutta crowd really cheer RD's dismissal or is that rumor monegring?

    By Blogger ilovecricket, at 05:51

  • considering the grass and all, why didnt we play sreesanth as super sub

    By Blogger Schumi, at 05:51

  • ilovedricket....no, no rumor ongering...definite and clear cheering....

By Blogger Pangalactic Gargleblaster, at 05:52

  • ilovecricket

they were cheering so loud that u would think India hit a six!!!

    By Blogger suraj, at 05:53

  • hmmm....While one cannot really blame SG for that .....I am really tempted to do so..

    By Blogger ilovecricket, at 05:53

  • jk,

most caucasians or ppl of european descent are well built especiall those who are in sports. I guess they are gentically different from us.

    By Blogger rahul_fan, at 05:53

  • squarecut:yeah true .. lara in full is flow is a better sight right now than SRT accumulating .. but SRT in full flow is also an equally pleasing sight i guess ..

By Blogger Confused Indian Cricket Fan, at 05:53

  • man .. arun lal is annoying. Verdant outfield...wow!

By Blogger losing now, at 05:53

  • One thing is certain...

    By Blogger ilovecricket, at 05:53

  • SG back in the team is not good for INdian Cricket..

    By Blogger ilovecricket, at 05:54

  • that's one of the things I liked about SG is that until recently he always appeared to play for the team - at least to the limits his ability allowed. I'm definitely not saying that he is an equal to SRT and RD in terms of batting but if you read a lot of the historic reports about his innings, the word "unselfish" is quite common. For example, in england in the Natwest Trophy final he blazed away to 60 runs off 40 balls which allowed Yuvraj and Kaif to be a little relaxed when starting to play themselves in in terms of run rate. Also his innings and captaincy at Headingley was just one of those inspirational things which lingers in the mind for a while. His choice to bat first - sending a signal that he had confidence in his batsmen and exhorting them to play well, his decision, with SRT, to refuse to go off for bad light and then the hour that will live forever, SRT and SG whacking the english bowlers to all parts - SG hitting 23 of an Ashley Giles over.

It's that intangible thing that SG brings which is worth more than his batting average....

    By Blogger Bobby, at 05:54

  • sreesant not in cuz SAF's are really good at playing pacers especially that kemp guy.

thats why they might have gone for MK instead of SS

    By Blogger rahul_fan, at 05:54

  • schumi
good question about SS - i just think the SAs are a bit wary of spin in general and MK now that he bowled so well against them in bangalore

    By Blogger GK, at 05:54

  • confused fan, when was the last time SRT was in full flow in tests? pre 1999

    By Blogger squarecut, at 05:54

  • Would kemp blast today??

By Blogger Reverse Sweep, at 05:54

  • confused...I thonk left handers are generally better to watch than right hander...that adds to Lara's charm...olus the high backlift and quick foot movement....I think SRT's drives when in full flow are a sight for the gods though

By Blogger Pangalactic Gargleblaster, at 05:55

  • cheering or jeering ? .... in any case would have been sad... Dravid can flop once or twice... may be to error in judgment... his getting bowled concerns me thou...

By Blogger mis-timed Drv, at 05:55

  • Deepak

Not just in these 3 matches. If you leave out the SL series, his avg in the last 15 matches is just about 15. On hindsight SL series seems like an aberration. It is a concern. I like Dravid and it is not a call for his removal from the team. Yet-

    By Blogger devips, at 05:55

  • bobby

SG also brings stupid arrogance, helluva politics and anti-national Bengali fanaticism as intangibles to the team

    By Blogger suraj, at 05:56

  • also a lot of run-outs and mediocre fielding..

    By Blogger ilovecricket, at 05:57

  • i wanna see DHONI blast the living day lights out of the SAFS today.

How about a quick 85 of 50-60 balls!

    By Blogger rahul_fan, at 05:57

  • 4

By Blogger Pangalactic Gargleblaster, at 05:57

  • well maybe they are not intangibles..;-)

    By Blogger ilovecricket, at 05:57

  • The field is set in to cut singles altogether, I wonder why these two are not going over the top?

    By Blogger inside_story, at 05:58

    By Blogger suraj, at 05:58

  • ppl
yuvi slowing down considerably. hope it doesnt affect his momentum

    By Blogger GK, at 05:58

  • squarecut:yes SRT is in accumulating mode these days.. though he did play a good attacking knock in "Murder in the dark" innings at Leeds in 01 ;) ..

By Blogger Confused Indian Cricket Fan, at 05:58

  • Ganguly will defenitely bring bad things to Indian Cricket again. No doubt.

Look, the mere announcement of his inclusion in the test team has caused our team to collapse like a pack of cards.

One can only imagine what it will do if he actually joins them.

  • Guys, just a few quick comments -

    1. Let's not get on SRT and RD's case. They've been doing it for a long time for team India and will come good soon.

    2. Let's not stir up more regionalistic hatred than some opportunistic politicians already are.

    3. SA have lucked out on the conditions and toss. The ball is seaming without rhyme or reason (like the one that got SRT had a wobbly seam, obviously Pollock didn't have a clue what he was doing and couldn't believe his luck when he got the master). We were in a worse position in Hyderabad and managed to get 250. Let's see what the team manages today.

    4. These kind of pitches are increasingly being seen in India. If we can keep this up without losing our expertise in preparing turning tracks, we can produce some great first-class pitches, and consequently some great cricketers of the future.

    5. It says a lot against preparing pitches that suit the home team. Hope other countries can follow India's lead on this, and hopefully we won't see the so-called sporting tracks bouncing like trampolines when we visit.

  • suraj,

yeah i agree to some extent. but when in his prime it was all worth it - the political part probably in some way helped him to wipe the team of parochialism and bring it together cos he was safe in his tenure and could stand up. agree that his form of late has been so bad so that a recalculation of his worth is needed. still think that it's fifty fifty which means I can completely understand why he was sacked but feel a bit nostalgic about his better times as well.

    By Blogger suraj, at 06:03

  • confused indian cricket fan: It's a pretty good way to look at things in my opinion. I don't see any reason to be pessimistic about India or the Indian cricket team.

By Blogger Sudo Nima, at 06:03

  • mohd kaif, u cannot play the pull shot. You are NOT allowed to !! Just put it away dammit

    By Blogger GK, at 06:03

  • I hope Calcutta pepares a green wicket for India-SL test match too..

By Blogger Thanks Chappel, at 06:03

  • pangalactic:some one needs to tell SRT tat even though ur making only 2 or 3 the team is not majorly affected .. so free ur mind .. and play naturally .. just enjoy ur game ..

By Blogger Confused Indian Cricket Fan, at 06:03

  • mis-timed drive, regarding SRT innings in sydney he cut down the offisde strokes and it was painful to watch him play like that and todays Lara's innings
    is sheer brilliance

    By Blogger squarecut, at 06:04

  • Zaheer's going great guns, isnt he....maybe a kick up the arse was all he needed....i mean, when fit and hungry, he's streets ahead of the Sanths and the RPs...its just the attitude thats a worry

By Blogger Pangalactic Gargleblaster, at 06:04

  • suraj, buddy, had a bengali girlfriend who left you a bit jilted? why this hatred??

    By Blogger arjunah, at 06:04

  • ilovecricket, people get taken in by all sorts of political BS all the time. Just ignore it. I'm sure RD rememembers the ovation he got in 2001 when he along with VVS thumped the Aussies. Getting offended by it and reacting is not going to help, IMHO. Let's give our Bengali friends the benefit of the doubt.

By Blogger Sudo Nima, at 06:05

  • pg
why are u so quick to write down the sanths and the rp singhs ?

    By Blogger GK, at 06:05
