Lots in a name

The good thing about the silly season, as far as Indian cricket goes, is that it never ends. Check out this story -- of a CM who vows he will attend a match only if the stadium is named after Rajiv Gandhi.

  • Damn these people!! Hang them.
When it comes to matter of names of inanimate objects - or rather, changing names like these - my only question is : how does it impact the comman man? Does India win or lose based on the name of the stadium it plays in?

  • Surprise! Why? This is the party that de-facto ruled by putting "Rajiv Gandhi's chappals on the PM Chair" (a la Bharat in Ramayana) after his death. This party knows our traditions!

  • Prem,
YSR is a gig devotee of Mr. & Mrs. Rajiv Gandhi.
He names 27 projects after RG, 10 after Indira Gandhi.
Recently, Rahul G., toured AP, read in a newspaper, he asked YSR...."why uncle you are naming so many projects after Dad's name"....YSR said...i named 10 projects after your grand mother too. Talk about bhajana....he praised Sonia Gandhi as mixture of Lord Rama, Gandhiji and Mother Teresa....

Y should HCA invite CM for prize distribution...this guy said, Govt cannot provide...single paisa for stadim or any dev in city...big commie type guy.

Sonia Gandhi praised YSR govt for excellent work and recommended cong ruled states to follow YSR model...so that we will have Rajiv written all over India.
