Rajan Bala on the BCCI elections

Bala, in his take on the upcoming cricket polls, looks at the larger issues -- primarily, eligibility criteria, with a bit of a background thrown in. Merits a read.

  • Quite a nice read indeed...had stopped reading Rajan Bala for a bit there...he was writing less about cricket and was more busy challenging the limits of the English language....good to see he is back....

  • He writes on a regular basis once a week atleast in Deccan Chronicle the local daily based in Hyderabad.
Always has interesting takes on the day to day happenings of World cricket. Great Cricket Writer.

  • Yeah, Rajan Bala -- great setter... I hoped he would be gone for good after the match fixing scam, where he was one of the suspects, if I remember correctly... unfortunately, journos are like cats... they have [at least] nine lives...

  • Prem...if you ever get back to this...one writer I haven't seen you folks reference is Ayaz Memon...he used to write for the Indian Express, but from the looks of it has now moved to DNA....here's his latest article...a pretty balanced take on things, as always....

Will repeat this comment in Test Spots...today's "happening" post
