CEC wants change

TS Krishnamurthy, fresh from his stint as observer of the BCCI annual polls, has suggested a whole set of reforms. A sampler:
Krishnamurthy, the man appointed by the Supreme Court to monitor this year's BCCI elections says the cricket board needs major changes, especially the current set up where some states like Maharashtra have more than one vote and other like Karnataka don't.
Under the existing procedure, the President can cast two votes as President and the deciding vote in case of a tie in the polls.
Krishnamurthy suggests doing away with this rule and amending the BCCI constitution to do so.
