The colonel makes a case...

...for professional, qualified selectors.
Calling for transparency in the selection of national cricket squad, former India captain Dilip Vengsarkar today said only experienced Test cricketers should be entrusted with the job to avoid the Sourav Ganguly like fiasco.
The 'Colonel', as he is known among the cricketing fraternity, said the selectors should be paid handsome remuneration rather than doing the job in the honorary capacity as is the case now.

And then, later in the program, this:
Asked whether deposed captain Sourav Ganguly should be recalled for the upcoming Pakistan tour, the Colonel said it would be shocking but declined to elaborate.

Nice. When you've finished solving today's Sudoku, bend your mind to the real riddle: shocking if picked, or shocking if dropped?
