Pressure points

Ranjib Biswal, who replaced the "pro-Ganguly" Pranab Roy as East Zone selector, heard from here:
Asked what he thought then about Ganguly’s performances in the Duleep Trophy and Ranji Trophy, he merely said, “The difference between Ranji trophy and international cricket is huge. We should see the consistency levels also.
“He (Ganguly) has scored more than 10,000 runs in one-dayers and 5,000 runs in test cricket. He is our most successful captain. But right now, the priority is to explore more players and determine what we need to have for the 2007 World Cup.”
