ECB recce team for Steel City

A two-member team from the England and Wales Cricket Board is due in Jamshedpur January 9, for a security recce ahead of the April 12 ODI between the two sides.
The visit assumes significance as the board had earlier expressed reservations about the English team playing a practice match in the city. The BCCI later shifted the warm-up game out of Jamshedpur.
JSCA officials said the team would inspect the dressing room, washrooms, commentary box, galleries, media centre and conference room at the Keenan.
The ECB duo would also be given an idea of the security arrangements on the roads that lead to the stadium.
Apart from the above, Allman and Gallagher are also expected to inspect JRD Tata Sports Complex (which is situated right next to the Keenan) as well as city hotels.
