Team India in Lahore

The Indian team has landed in Pakistan, at the end of a flight delayed by four hours. Quick sound byte:
"It doesn't matter who is favourite or who scored runs. When the journalists ask you say a few things but as a professional sportsman you know that what you do on that day is what matters," he had said just before the team’s departure in New Delhi.

Ahem! Much of the interaction is Pavlovian, as Dravid indicates. Say a few polite somethings, and move on. Words, words, no matter from the heart, as that Shakespeare chappie once said. If only they knew, though, how every chance statement is analyzed, dissected, scrutinised, debated -- and occasionally, abused!
