Too cold to handle(-worma)

Akhtar destroyed English lineup today in a remarkable spell of..uhh...slow bowling. His 12th 5 wicket haul in his 39th match...and three of those 5 wkts were through devastatingly slow balls. The one to get Bell was so slow that after missing it with an early bat movement he almost moved his back leg, sort of instinctively, to block it.

He's looking in terrific form....and so is Kaneria after a quieter match at Faisalabad. His googlies were landing on the exact spot to stretch and confuse the English batsmen. That they were not reading it off the hand or pitch did not help either.

Watch out, Indian team!
