hey guys visit my site, become rich in an instand. sit on your ass for the rest of your life sippuind nice cocktails with little umbrellas in them while watching india beat SA!!

    By Blogger K-Slice, at 02:22

  • Hey, is it a green top in eden gardens or a solid batting wicket with a little bit of green ?
In any case, team batting first needs 300+ total to have a chance to win. what do you think ?

    By Blogger greg2rescue, at 02:26

  • Which website are people using to watch the match in the US? I have found willow.tv and cricketon.tv. Are there others that people have found that are good and inexpensive?

By Blogger Key Lime Pie Guy, at 02:26

  • Here we go folks, what say you. can't wait for the game to get underway. Should be a humdinger match of the series. WIll get some serial and coffee and back in 1 hour. (run to the gym and get some push ups)

By Blogger Prem Panicker, at 02:27

  • Anyone watching the Lara innings down at Adelaide? Lara is on fire.

By Blogger Prem Panicker, at 02:29

  • I think Team India has to make a strong statement tonight...I am hoping to see some fireworks...

    By Blogger greg2rescue, at 02:29

  • I'd also like to know where to watch streaming video cheaply

    By Blogger seewagfan, at 02:29

  • Here comes the fake prem.

    By Blogger buddha, at 02:29

  • hi prem, any update on the track ?

    By Blogger greg2rescue, at 02:30

  • greg2,

    here is the fake prem.

    By Blogger buddha, at 02:30

  • Greentop is not a good sign. CAB might be upto something to embarass the current team. My sources say Dalmiya himself talked with the curator not to cut the grass.

By Blogger Prem Panicker, at 02:30

  • Team for today match?. any guess guys?

    By Blogger buddha, at 02:32

  • fake prem,

    Any guess on team selection?

    By Blogger buddha, at 02:33

  • budda, mate no fake. only real. trying to hoodwink the blockers.

By Blogger Prem Panicker, at 02:33

  • the day is fast approaching when we wont be able to see such brilliance from brian laral. what a sad day thats going to be. i just realsised how much i have and still enjoy watching him trash(no its not meant to be thrash!!) bowlers.

    By Blogger K-Slice, at 02:34

  • lol @ fake prem

    By Blogger buddha, at 02:34

  • buddha, how do you know it is fake prem ? If so, hats off to this guy..

i think gambhir will be in the team and Mohd Kaif will be supersub.

    By Blogger greg2rescue, at 02:34

  • Team selection has been finalized after carefully looking at the pitch and measuring the height of the grass. They plan to go with an extra seamer in place of Karthik. Santh will be the super sub.

By Blogger Prem Panicker, at 02:35

  • greg,

I know, because you just click his name and it leads to a profile which is not our prem's one.

    By Blogger buddha, at 02:35

  • Hey guys, where can i watch the India ODI cheaply? And where do you get the Ranji score updates?

    By Blogger seewagfan, at 02:36

  • This is prem's actual profile

    http://www.blogger.com/profile/9291341

    By Blogger buddha, at 02:36

  • i think both prem and greg are fake today :)

    By Blogger rahul_fan, at 02:36

  • also it is logical that JD and co will be trying to embarass team india. Now it is time turn the disadvantage into advantage and show the middle finget to these blighters.

    By Blogger greg2rescue, at 02:36

  • Here in order of batting....
    SRT
    VS
    MK
    RD
    YS
    GG(Super Sub)
    MSD
    IP
    AA
    HS
    RP Singh
    Murali

Mohd Kaif pushed up to get batting practice...

  • greg2,

if you want to prove, I will change my name too as prem and post. you want me to do that?

    By Blogger buddha, at 02:38

  • prem said he's going to the gym

    By Blogger seewagfan, at 02:38

  • hey k-slice, dija see SG bat today?

    By Blogger i, at 02:38

  • prem ( fake or real...i dont care ), again very logical to select Santh if it is green top. If the Green top remains true, how will it behave under dew for fast bowlers bowling second ?

    By Blogger greg2rescue, at 02:38

  • okk i seriously doubt this son of a motherless goat is actually prem. prem is a little to modest to ask us to listen to his nuggets of wisdom.

    By Blogger K-Slice, at 02:38

  • Aus will pile up 600 in their innings, what say you.

By Blogger Prem Panicker, at 02:39

  • This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.

    By Blogger buddha, at 02:39

  • yup, i might get fired for this but i had to go see him get his hundred
i dont know what it was but either indias fastes bowler munaf was on weed today or SG was on crack. either ways he was molesting munaf. well anybody who bowled at him for that matter.

    By Blogger K-Slice, at 02:40

  • buddha, if the fake guy wants to ape prems style and talk cricket. I am willing to talk to him. Let him have some fun at my expense. What the heck ? It is Thanks giving...

    By Blogger greg2rescue, at 02:40

  • k-slice, are the live ranji scores available on the net?

    By Blogger seewagfan, at 02:41

  • Have you noticed my comment with prem's name. it is just anybody can do. so careful with fakers.

    By Blogger buddha, at 02:41

  • it seems SG got big one, but then RGavaskar too got a 50, so I don't know the worth of the bowling.

    By Blogger i, at 02:42

  • ah, found the Ranji scores.

Next question -- where to go for live video of the Kolkatta match?

    By Blogger seewagfan, at 02:42

  • seewag, not live ones but i think cricinfo updates every few centuries!

    By Blogger K-Slice, at 02:43

  • Lara is violating Lee at Adelaide.

    By Blogger i, at 02:43

  • yes k-slice, that's what I found, good enough. do you know how this sgstream works?

    By Blogger seewagfan, at 02:44

  • i the bowling attack was actualy pretty good. i am not saying that because i am a maharashtra fan. the problem is that the wicket at the nehru stadium is as flat as catherine hepburns ass. hence even with a bowler pitching short the ball was siitng up to be hit. also it has gotten flatter as the game has progressed. gavaskar too was playing well.

    By Blogger K-Slice, at 02:44

  • love how Lara is so positive on every ball once he's set. been waiting for this since the superseries.

    By Blogger roublen, at 02:44

  • budda, nobody is interested in fake prem postings, mate. Bloggers here know who is fake and who is real. We did not read your fake posts, alright. Folks, this is real and note fake, I don't use multiple ids or profiles. (if I do, it is just to confuse blockers and not bloggers, so please be patient until our new rediff interface is ready for the big rollout)

By Blogger Prem Panicker, at 02:46

  • You mean Audrey Hepburn's chest don't you? Kat Hepburn had a nice ass.

    By Blogger i, at 02:46

  • munaf patel is supposed to be good. Got VVS out twice in the Duleep Trophy. Don't know about the pitch, or the other bowlers. But Ganguly got 5 wickets, so the pitch can't be that flat.

    By Blogger roublen, at 02:46

  • maitch kab shuru hoga?

    By Blogger i, at 02:48

  • Just a suspicious thought--if they can fix test & odi matches, why wouldn't these ranji matches with ganguly be fixed??

    By Blogger seewagfan, at 02:50

  • another hour of wait.. these day night matches sucks for us Californians..

By Blogger Thanks Chappel, at 02:50

  • i sir i am sorry. you are coorect . i did mean her chest.

    By Blogger K-Slice, at 02:51

  • let the make the most of it in the blog...or if you have willow tv. watch sachin & sehwag murder SL in the scond match in a low score.

    By Blogger greg2rescue, at 02:52

  • seewag, everything including marriages can be fixed.

    By Blogger i, at 02:52

  • munaf patel & bahatule have no reason to lay down for Ganguly, and are raring to go in Ranji trophy.

    By Blogger roublen, at 02:52

  • what a pull shot!

    By Blogger roublen, at 02:53

  • tc, what do you think abt today's match ? green top huh ?

    By Blogger greg2rescue, at 02:53

  • Also K-Slice, Audrey H. and Kat H. were different people. Kat H., had a lovely chest, with wonderful appendages.

    By Blogger i, at 02:53

  • roublen, the pitch here in poona is a belter. i was really surpirsed that SG did as well as he did. i agree with munaf and sai being imports they need to prove a point even if it is atr the expense of dada or anyone else for that matter.

    By Blogger K-Slice, at 02:54

  • has anybody seen munaf patel bowl ? for ex. how smooth is his action ? what is the pace he generates ?

    By Blogger greg2rescue, at 02:54

  • g2r,
Green top is nice.. I want our team to win on a green top with no excuses from Smith.. offlate we have got this green pitch fobia at home.. outside we play OK but if we see a green pitch at home, we get this greewicketish... I want to get over this disease once and for all.. so why not start it today..

By Blogger Thanks Chappel, at 02:55

  • greg2,
he has a whippy action but he generates a shit load of pace. can hit the deck and get alarming bounce. on the practice wicket, which is more seamer friendly he had all the maharashtra batsmen acting like they were wearing shoes with flubber soles!

    By Blogger K-Slice, at 02:56

  • yeah...bowl first then ?

    By Blogger greg2rescue, at 02:56

  • k-slice, thanks for the info. I am liking India bench strength at this point with domestic fixtures taking some lime light it deserves.

    By Blogger greg2rescue, at 02:58

  • yes i
i am a huge movie fan. there are some movies where everything else is so horrible that all you end up doing is watching assets!

    By Blogger K-Slice, at 02:58

  • we have to plan for the worst and have a fast bowler instead of spinner today.

    By Blogger greg2rescue, at 03:00

  • when does it staert?

    By Blogger K-Slice, at 03:00

  • I want to bat first if its a green pitch.. because its not gonna help spin anyway much.. atleast part timers will be of not much use.. in the afternoon, green pitch might not be such a big deal.. it will play much better than once its get wet if it is really a green pitch.. Calcutta will have some chance of swing too..

By Blogger Thanks Chappel, at 03:00

  • starts exactly one hour from now...

    By Blogger greg2rescue, at 03:01

  • k-slice, I too am a huge movie buff. Something to keep me occupied with on Sat. nights. Everyone else is screwing around. Shit, I hate the west :-)

    By Blogger i, at 03:01

  • yeah k-slice, all the Maharashtra tail-enders scored runs, so it must be a good pitch. The Maharashtra top order collapsed for some reason. Good for Ganguly.

    By Blogger roublen, at 03:01

  • I would have 6 bats, 3 seamers, Bhajji and SS as super sub..
we win toss, we bat first..
they win toss, they will ask us to bat first anyway because its a green pitch so they will be itching to bowl.. second they dont want us to use the dry conditions.. and if they still ask us to bowl first.. nice.. 3 fast bowlers are enough in the afternoon.. and we can get around the situation..

By Blogger Thanks Chappel, at 03:02

  • exactly...bat first and put 300+. Have 4 fast bowlers. Viru & sachin & yuivi can pitch in if spin works. Kaif or sreesanth as supersub...

    By Blogger greg2rescue, at 03:02

  • bat first and put 330+ and make them lose their appetite for dinner.. thats what D.Ramachandran said once..

By Blogger Thanks Chappel, at 03:03

  • did you guys read about the gory details of the test selection meeting. It seems that many of them laughed when the other faction was trying to promote SG as an "ALL ROUNDER". I would too...

    By Blogger greg2rescue, at 03:05

  • Dileep Premachandran is an ass.

    By Blogger i, at 03:06

  • they wanted to drop LAX... that was a ploy to say .. if you keep LAX, SG has to be in too.. he too scored a century in Zim series..

By Blogger Thanks Chappel, at 03:06

  • i - why so ?

    By Blogger greg2rescue, at 03:06

  • Lara scores a double !! Cool!! This guy is mazing!!

    By Blogger Ravi1010, at 03:07

  • tc, yeah..yeah. I have been noticing dada doing this for some time now. He said before some series " Laxman & I have to get some runs" , etc...They even have the audacity to compare VVS and SG in tests...I spit on them...

    By Blogger greg2rescue, at 03:08

  • good news is Mahindra the joker has been barred from stading up as a Board president..

By Blogger Thanks Chappel, at 03:09

  • before India-Pak series at home, he said LAX will be highest scorer... just to put pressure and start fiddling with his spot..

By Blogger Thanks Chappel, at 03:10

  • G2R, DP is an ass because he tries to hide his biases behind language, and he is not even that good a writer.

Biases are fine, heck everyone has them, but it is nice to be upfront about them rather than make subtle suggestion relying on one's slightly better grasp of a foreing tongue than one's readers.

On the other hand I must say the other extreme of being upfront about one's biases while murdering a perfectly good language (like our friend TC) is not a very appetizing thought either.

What can I say, devil and the deep sea.

    Rahul Bhatta. is good.

    By Blogger i, at 03:11

  • Lara is awesome, but, I hope this double ton is in a winning cause..With aussies you never know...

    By Blogger greg2rescue, at 03:12

  • anyone used sgstream? if so do you know how to sign up?

    By Blogger seewagfan, at 03:14

  • i, sometimes I find DP's sarcasm humurous. He may not be that great of a writer but, I like his language and tone...

    By Blogger greg2rescue, at 03:14

  • I have gulped plenty of sad beer just to get rid of the guilt of spending money on a series where our captain looked aweful and beyond for 2 full years... His samba dance on the pitch, just made a bit sour.. I am sure I will get my fingures moving once I get set and am ready for a winning season..

By Blogger Thanks Chappel, at 03:14

  • heres a nice piece on ashes

    http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7531604022654251142&q=ashes

    By Blogger rahul_fan, at 03:16

  • i...yr profile does not show cricket as one of yr interests?? How come yr are here??Anyways...nice to have u back...U seem to have sobered down from the days of ours discussions on BOOST :D

    By Blogger Ravi1010, at 03:17

  • heard that dravid was visibly upset leaving the selection meeting. His interview also has very clear directions to his thoughts. I am for one happy that RD is showing some spunk and standing up for what he is...good show.

    By Blogger greg2rescue, at 03:17

  • I think 4rt bowler can be JPY too.. On a skiddish pitch, acurate line and length will be good..

By Blogger Thanks Chappel, at 03:17

  • I meant 5th.. the supersub..

By Blogger Thanks Chappel, at 03:18

  • G2R the problem with DP's sarcasm is that it is forced. I always get the feeling of a man who is trying much too hard to write. Anyway, sarcasm is much to juvenile a medium of communication for me now - age is passing me by.

    By Blogger i, at 03:18

  • Inside sources say that RD was upset because, GC was doing all the talking and mentioning regularly that he had RD clued into his thoughts...and RD's expressions were like Oh! Is that so? :D

    By Blogger Ravi1010, at 03:20

  • What an innings by Lara - was prvileged to watch it.... Lara is 12 short of becoming the highest run-getter and Lara has 31 100s now. Time for our SRt to start scoring some runs in tests. actually itz time for India to play a lot more tests in one calender year :D

Also SG is 153 not out now !!!

By Blogger Ravi Krishnan, at 03:20

  • lara on song is the best sight in world cricket. His one handedsweep of Warne was a treat. Hope he gets the 13 runs tomorrow and becomes the highest run scorer in Test Cricket...

By Blogger Saurabh Wahi, at 03:20

  • wow. 91 comments already and the match is more than half an hour away

    By Blogger GK, at 03:20

  • Ravi, I am not interested in cricket per se. People "interested" in cricket and "knowledgeable" about matters cricket are much more interesting. Also I have not particularly sobered down, not that I was ever inebriated. We can always discuss Boost.

    By Blogger i, at 03:20

  • Any predictions/information about toss.. shouldnt we bat if we win.. I have analyzed all the matches in month of nov in Calcutta.. Except the last match against PAK, team batting first wins mostly.. so dew factor cant change as its all in the same month..

By Blogger Thanks Chappel, at 03:21

  • saurabh
absolutely. probably the second legend in the game after the don ?? or is that gilchrist now ?

    By Blogger GK, at 03:21

  • i,
biases and being open is fine till you get an absolutely wet, undy tainiting fart like LP sahi.

    By Blogger K-Slice, at 03:21

  • What a knock from Lara!!!...Just 12 short of becoming the highest run getter of all time....I watched the match on Willow where they pulled up the statistics for both Lara and Sachin....Shows that although both have played almost the some number of tests, Lara has played 15 more innings than Sachin and has fewer not outs than Sachin....Sachin has a higher average though...Not sure how u can interpret these numbers with both players dealing with entirely circumtances every time they step out to bat...In my view Lara is a notch above Sachin mainly because he scores his runs for a weak team which is entirely dependent on him to even put up a decent total on the board....Considering that he delivers under this extreme pressure almost everytime makes him special in my eyes.....

    By Blogger joblesscricketfan, at 03:22

  • Ravi - and because behind every successful man there is a woman, guess RD's wife better watch out in case GC wants to clue her in too.

    By Blogger i, at 03:22

  • i....like that...Good attitude...no noticeable bias...no foul language....subtle humor...things that make a good blogger,i presume

    By Blogger Ravi1010, at 03:23

  • tc,
toss will be really interetsting. probably best to lose it

    By Blogger GK, at 03:23

  • ravi1010
inside sources? mate all of this is a crock of horse shit. for all we know Rd was the one bitchign about his inclusion and greg was quiet. best if we take these inside sources with a kilo of tata namak

    By Blogger K-Slice, at 03:23

  • i....no personal stuff...wives,girl friends,paramours...not acceptable,pls

    By Blogger Ravi1010, at 03:24

  • ravi1010,
    yeah no noticable bias.. :))

By Blogger Thanks Chappel, at 03:24

  • anybody know how the pitch is ?!?

By Blogger Ravi Krishnan, at 03:25

  • jobless
also at his best is lara is a sight to behold much more than sachin. his batting is like a wildly flowing river, sachin even at his best seems a little constrained

    By Blogger GK, at 03:25

  • K-Slice, Sure but to me LPSahi and DP are about on the same level. The difference being one wields a subtler pen, and hence gets a wider following. Like commies vs righteous bigots - both are idiots, but commies get much more newsprint because they can twist the language to appear balanced, nuanced, intelligent and knowledgeable. The frauds.

    By Blogger i, at 03:25

  • k-slice...U missed it....It is my personal take..Just a spin to the story....having fun while it lasts...so long it does not hurt anyone personally

    By Blogger Ravi1010, at 03:25

  • who won toss?

    By Blogger buddha, at 03:25

  • Does Ganguly fit in the Test XI?

Here’s looking at how the eleven players performed in the second and final Test of the series with Zimbabwe.

Openers Gambhir and Sehwag scored 97 and 44 and there is little doubt that they will be changed.

Dravid scored 98, followed by VVS Laxman, who made eight and did not bat in the second innings. But the stylish batsman scored 140 in the first Test against Zimbabwe at Bulawayo in India's innings win. So Laxman too looks settled.

Batting at No 5, Ganguly scored 16 in the lone innings, and was followed by Yuvraj Singh who scored 12 and 25 in the two Tests.

Who should play? make your pick and I will be happy

    By Blogger Yacrik, at 03:26

  • i guess toss will be in 5 mins or so...right ??

    By Blogger greg2rescue, at 03:27

  • k...thanks for yr Ranji update on SG...U fit in well..in the absence of any worthwhile writeup in Cricinfo.Any chances of u hopping into the stadium again ? :)

    By Blogger Ravi1010, at 03:27

  • Lara usually get these big scores once West Indies loose the series, it happened before with his world record 400

    By Blogger krishkannan, at 03:27

  • ravi - learn to live with a semi-dirty innuendo. You are all grown up now.

I can clearly imagine GC making that "team is clued in with ME" statement.

    By Blogger i, at 03:28

  • yacrik if we r gonna play only 4 bowlers it comes down to a choice betn SG, yuvi and kaif and id pick SG on current form. if we play 5 bowlers SG does not fit in

    By Blogger GK, at 03:28

  • lara has this habbit of scoring in dead rubbers.

By Blogger idli vade, at 03:28

  • jobless - i disagree. SRT has pressure of millions of fans every time he steps on the field. Lara has considerably less fan pressure. but no comparisons please of two great players. both are equal in their own rights IMO.

By Blogger Ravi Krishnan, at 03:29

  • Pitch Info:

The pitch is hard and very well rolled, however there is quite a bit of grass on the pitch and that should give rise to some seam movement as well as good carry to the keeper. The track should give a fair assistance to the team bowling first. The team winning the toss would certainly like to bowl because of the dew factor as well some early assistace that the track would provide to the bowlers

    By Blogger Yacrik, at 03:29

  • k
whats the latest on the game man ? any chance maharashtra can still come out on top ?

    krish
who cares abt what happens to west indies ? all i want is to see lara in full flow

    By Blogger GK, at 03:29

  • will lara break border's record? thats a million dollor question. the windies tail is pathetic.

By Blogger idli vade, at 03:29

  • according to unconfirmed reports India won the toss and elected to bat.

    By Blogger Yacrik, at 03:30

  • Fake pp...habit has only on p..Prem Panicker has two

    By Blogger Ravi1010, at 03:30

  • that's nasty.... deriding someone of the calibre of Lara. Memory seems to be certainly short. We seem to have forgotten how many (live) matches he has won singlehandedly.

It certainly was not his fault that this is a dead rubber....

    By Blogger theesra, at 03:30

  • Oops...One b :(

    By Blogger Ravi1010, at 03:30

  • South Africa has won the toss and decided to bowl first
Smith wins the toss and decides to bowl first

    By Blogger Yacrik, at 03:31

  • Smith wins toss and decides to bowl first.

    By Blogger buddha, at 03:32

  • Pressure:

I dont really agree with the fact that Lara performs under greater pressure than SRT..

First, Lara was in a good team in the start of his career and thats when he won matches..

Later his team became so pathetic, that Nobdy expected it to win even at home mostly.. (exceptions might be India.. or some other minnows). If the team you play for is pathetic and has no chance of winning, pressure is much less and one plays freely..

Just look at the scenario, I have seen our tail performing more than decently whenever a match is either won or totally lost.. All Agarakar's, Zaheer's, Srinath's and Kumble's exploits came when there are no bets involved anymore, hence no pressure.. Its like if you are 45/5, someone in the tail delivers well.. however the same person suck when you need 5 runs in 5 balls in an ODI..

So if your team is totally winning, there is little pressure on you.. you just have to play for yourself with the team in mond..

if your team is losing everything, there is little or no pressure.. it might be there becayse you have pressure of your name, but not because of match situation or fear of losing..

So Lara has been under least pressure, specially after 97-98..

By Blogger Thanks Chappel, at 03:32

  • India batting first... :(

    By Blogger Yacrik, at 03:32

  • gk..yeah..especially after today's knock where even the great Glenn McGrath looked powerless in front of Lara's Magic...But for India's sake..I desperately do hope that Sachin sets the Garden of Eden on fire today...

    By Blogger joblesscricketfan, at 03:32

  • smith won the toss and will field. not such a bad thing i guess

    By Blogger GK, at 03:32

  • Prem,

Lara's double already has some of my colleagues great things abt him etc...(I think we all know that !!)

Your point abt him scoring in dead rubbers is quite interesting..

In anycase, his swansong in Australia will be remembered well !!

    By Blogger Girish, at 03:32

  • GK

I thought players play for their team to win.

I agree Lara on song is a great sight

But without WI Lara wouldnot be where he is

    By Blogger krishkannan, at 03:32

  • anybody watching the 4th umpire on dd, can u tell me how good that program is?
i heard its a high quality program

By Blogger idli vade, at 03:32

  • South Africa has won the toss and decided to bowl first
Smith wins the toss and decides to bowl first

    By Blogger Rishi, at 03:32

  • ravi,no i dont plan on going back to the stadium but i have a few friends there who are going to cal lme once he gets out.
    i-
disagree. i feel the commie here is LP with his firm belief that his way is right and by not following it we are fucking ourselves silly. DP would be the political writer who checks where his bread is buttered. agreed his grip over english is great but all he does is bitch and moan about whats wrong. the persons attacked in his column keep changing depending on what the other newspapers say about them. well he too has a stomach to fill so whatever.

    By Blogger K-Slice, at 03:33

  • TC, you got what you wanted. India is batting first...

    By Blogger greg2rescue, at 03:33

  • anybody watching the 4th umpire on dd, can u tell me how good that program is?
i heard its a high quality program

By Blogger idli vade, at 03:33

  • and Lara's 401 and this century.. all in dead rubbers.. in prior matches, he did nothing.. however this time he got ruffies..

By Blogger Thanks Chappel, at 03:33

  • well
    lara scores 200
    inzy scores 2 100s
    gangu scores 150
it is abt time sachin also scored i think

    By Blogger GK, at 03:33

  • K...SG gone for 159 ...and Bengal down to 375 /9...Munaf gets 3 wkts

    By Blogger Ravi1010, at 03:34

  • Who's opening the india batting - SRT and Veeru or is it Gambhir ??

    Who's the super sub ?

    By Blogger Girish, at 03:34

  • what is the team, anyone? willow starts a lot later..

By Blogger Thanks Chappel, at 03:34

  • Murali Kartik is the supersub for India, Gambhir is in the playing eleven, Robin Peterson is the supersub for South Africa.

    By Blogger Yacrik, at 03:34

  • K-Slice, You have hit the nail on its head. That is exactly what DP is, and hence, an ass in my book.

    By Blogger i, at 03:35

  • any reviews on the fourth umpire program on dd sports?

By Blogger idli vade, at 03:35

  • I guess, India wanted to bat first if they won the toss. Bowler is a supersub.

    By Blogger Yacrik, at 03:35

  • wow
did we keep the supersub again for losing the toss ? becoz karthik is the ss today and gg is playing. this idea o RD-GC seems really good !!

    By Blogger GK, at 03:35

  • SA Won the toss and elected to field.

    By Blogger Hemal, at 03:35

  • Girish,

It is not prem. its a fake. check his profile.

    By Blogger buddha, at 03:35

  • prem panicker,
please get your head out of your you know where.

    By Blogger K-Slice, at 03:35

  • First prediction, we are winning today atleast by 35 runs.

By Blogger Thanks Chappel, at 03:35

  • its a f***ing greentop no wonder smith opted to filed

    By Blogger squarecut, at 03:36

  • tc
same team except gambhir plays karthik is supersub

    By Blogger GK, at 03:36

  • I think Dhoni might be promoted up the order today, what say guys?

    By Blogger Hemal, at 03:36

  • hemal
maybe lets see how it goes

    By Blogger GK, at 03:36

  • Prem,

I won't say 4th Umpire is a high standard program. It's pretty ok with Charu hosting it along with Anjum Chopra (From the women's team) along with Srikanth and Jimmry/Atul Wassan !!

Sometimes, Srikanth does a Sidhu by not letting others talk and forcing others to agree his views...

But yes, in the absence of any other coverage, it's ok..Even better if you can watch it in mute ;)

    By Blogger Girish, at 03:37

  • guys, where to watch please?

    By Blogger seewagfan, at 03:37

  • lets hope we do not try for something too high. we shud aim for 280 say

    By Blogger GK, at 03:38

  • lets send Dhoni and GG as openers... today.

By Blogger Thanks Chappel, at 03:38

  • All you guys -- and that includes the wannabe-me trying hard to sound like me, in here -- I will as in the last couple of games post 10-over updates on the main blog. And just for the heck of sticking my neck out, I think IMHO Graeme Smith just goofed in inserting India. See you all on the main page, starting 10-overs after the game begins; here's to a great one.

By Blogger Prem Panicker, at 03:38

  • girish,

it is not prem. it is a fake prem.

    By Blogger buddha, at 03:38

  • Murali Kartik is the supersub for India, Gambhir is in the playing eleven, Robin Peterson is the supersub for South Africa.

    By Blogger Rishi, at 03:38

  • is it a green top

i have not got the feed yet....

By Blogger Ravi Krishnan, at 03:38

  • SC Ganguly b Munaf Patel

    By Blogger Yacrik, at 03:38

  • prem, criconfo says its a greentop so what is the goofup

    By Blogger squarecut, at 03:38

  • BTW K-Slice LPSahi is hardly subtle enough to be called a commie. I would put him down as a righteous bigot.

    By Blogger i, at 03:38

  • murali karthik will play a key role in india's world cup win in 2007

By Blogger idli vade, at 03:38

  • gk:
I think its the right opportunity for both him and team India to make a big score.
I think this would be the order:

    SRT
    GG
    MSD
    VS
    RD
    YS
    MK

    By Blogger Hemal, at 03:38

  • Prem panicker, don't bother wasting your time here dude !!

    By Blogger Girish, at 03:39

  • oh my god squarecut. its a greentop. lets get the army out. i am sure there will be riots. i can already see the pampers stock rising with all our batsmen buying lots of them. greentop in india? no not acceptable. shit how can our batsmen ever deal weith it. they will now be permanently emotionally scarred. what has this guy in cally done? playing with the emotions of millions of indian fans. damn him.
dude relax. we have a pretty decent batting line up. the color of the wicket tends not to change drastically over 100 overs. now if the southies are more apt at dwealing .. well too bad.

    By Blogger K-Slice, at 03:39

  • The last one is a real prem.

    By Blogger buddha, at 03:39

  • murali karthik will run through the sa batters today
    10-5-12-6

By Blogger idli vade, at 03:40

  • Or is it the real prem ??

    By Blogger Girish, at 03:40

  • That chap doing the commentary on cricinfo is always "big-helloing". Why this discrimination against smaller, lesser hellos. Are they not hellos? If you don't acknowledge them, do they not bleed?

    By Blogger i, at 03:40

  • i
yet again i disagree. he is a right wing fascist but dressed in red with the hammer and sickle across his chest. he tries to be neutral but is winged. its like buddhadeb, the cm of bengal. says foreign investemt is horrible, all the while bending over backwards to see if anyone will invest in him and his state.

    By Blogger K-Slice, at 03:41

  • k-slice don't get excited. all I meant was smiths decision to put us was Okay and nothing else. Oh boy what kin og folks comes on this blog

    By Blogger squarecut, at 03:41

  • no buddha, I don't think he is real.

    By Blogger devatha, at 03:41

  • i, the smaller hellos dont pay taxes, dont have voting rights and are unemployed. hence immediately discounted.

    By Blogger K-Slice, at 03:41

  • I wanted it to be a green top. because its good that Bengalis take their revenge and cool down afterwards.
Its better if we win and give a high kick up the ass of all the whiners including Smith.. Now if he loses now what does he whine about.. SG was not in the team and we could not handle home crowd pressure???

By Blogger Thanks Chappel, at 03:42

  • k
is it really a greentop ? if so probably it is made by the CAB in retaliation for nagpur and the dropping of sourav ? anyway lets hope our players show the skill to negotiate it. i know they can

    By Blogger GK, at 03:42

  • seehwagfan - willow tv www.willow.tv

By Blogger Ravi Krishnan, at 03:42

  • Real Prem,

Your double threw me off guard and hence my post abt "wasting time" !!.. Wasn't intended...

Fake Prem, pls get off the blog !!

    By Blogger Girish, at 03:42

  • devatha,
check his profile, only the last one is prem. remaining posts are from fake.

    By Blogger buddha, at 03:42

  • Squarecut, I agree on the class of people who come to this blog. Just look at you. Or me.

    By Blogger i, at 03:42

  • or use sgstream.com

    search for kolkata or calcutta

By Blogger Ravi Krishnan, at 03:42

  • strange munaf patel, after bowling 25 overs without a wicket, bowled Ganguly and cleaned up the tail in a matter of minutes. Bengal got the first-innings lead, but.

    By Blogger roublen, at 03:43

  • gk, the clor of the pitch is unkniown and inconsequential tome. i have a report to run and doesnt look like its gonna happen right now considering i am about to air my ass and go watch the game in the nearest bar!

    By Blogger K-Slice, at 03:43

  • K-Slice, if that is why the lesser hellos are discounted, most of India would.

Wait, most of India is discounted, and it doesn't even care. It is too busy fighting against/for SG.

    By Blogger i, at 03:44

  • tc - smith is going to complain that SG was not included, so unfair advantage to indians :D LOL

By Blogger Ravi Krishnan, at 03:44

  • did u guys read in the morning papers that smith says it will be like playing at home becoz he thinks the crowd will support SA as SG is not there ? what a pathetic statement and what a crying shame if it is true

    By Blogger GK, at 03:45

  • also Smith should be immediately taken into the ENgland team. He's a big whiner and ideally suited in the Whiners country side ;)

By Blogger Ravi Krishnan, at 03:46

  • Buddha: Then what prem said was completely in contrast what every body else is saying. This is a win toss, bowl first wicket, because of the dew factor & the grass. In fact, smith did the right thing.

    By Blogger devatha, at 03:46

  • GK, if you think that is true, I cry for you. Or, rather, I cries for you.

    By Blogger i, at 03:46

  • ontop of it criconfo says its a greentop

btw that was not real prem i think

    By Blogger squarecut, at 03:47

  • what are the odds of SG taking a 10-for LOL

By Blogger Ravi Krishnan, at 03:48

  • Smith is a joker.... Read whats written on Dan's world... Dan does a real spoof... writing Smith's tour diaries

    By Blogger Yeda_Yakub, at 03:48

  • u there prem?
that great.. we will give company to u

By Blogger idli vade, at 03:48

  • We should take a poll right here and now. All who think that was the real Prem, please fart.
